In 1965, Coltrane released “A Love Supreme,” one of the most beloved and cherished albums of the 20th century. The last track, Pt. 4 - Psalm, features a saxophone recitation of a poem he wrote, titled A Love Supreme, that was included in the liner notes. You can read along to his playing. It’s incredible, and this video syncs up the song with his words.
